Annual membership year is from January 1 through December 31. GSWS does not prorate the dues amount for mid-year membership. The Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; therefore, dues are tax-deductible. The cost of annual membership dues for the calendar year is $30.00.

New Members Garden State Watercolor Society (GSWS) is a dynamic organization providing quality exhibitions, artist opportunities, and events to our members and the public. GSWS is open to persons 18 years or older and residing in NJ, NY, DE, PA. We offer to the artist, novice to professional, a continuous source of support and encouragement. We hope you’ll join us!

Associate membership
Associate members are entitled to:
Receive invitations to all GSWS events, openings and functions.
Submit to the all GSWS Exhibitions at a lower fee than non-members.
Be listed in the catalog of the Annual Exhibition as an Associate member.
Receive the Annual Exhibition catalog for free.
Vote in the Annual Board Meeting
signature membership
To obtain Signature Member status, a member must be accepted into no less than three GSWS Annual Juried Exhibitions within a seven-year period with three different paintings. In addition to Associate Member privileges, Signature Members are entitled to:
Use GSWS initials after their signature
emeritus membership
GSWS Board selects a member(s) who has made a substantial commitment and support to the Garden State Watercolor Society.
