Sunset Over Shady Valley by Wes Sherman

Our Juror – WES SHERMAN
Artist Wes Sherman has been painting since 1992, in that time he has had over 40 solo exhibitions and was included in numerous group shows. He received his MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He is represented by J Cacciola Gallery W in Bernardsville, NJ.
 
 “My paintings employ the recognizable language of landscapes—a horizon line, sky, water, trees—to express a straight-forward narrative. Other, more complex, ideas are entwined in the scene and intended to be visible only upon close viewing. ”

Annual Members' Exhibition. The Members’ Exhibition occurs once a year. All current members have the opportunity to display their art at this show. Acceptance is not juried. This exhibition is juried for awards only. Many of our members express their creativity using various mediums not limiting themselves to watermedia only. It gives them a platform to exhibit other types of work they have completed as well as their watermedia work which makes for a very diverse, exciting show.
