Open Juried Exhibition
Painting by Doris Ettlinger
D&R Greenway Land Trust, Princeton NJ
1 Preservation Pl, Princeton, NJ 08540 Exhibition Dates: October 1, 2025 – January 4, 2026 Theme: This Land is Your Land
Garden State Watercolor Society is proud to present This Land Is Your Land, our theme for this year’s Open Juried Exhibition. Inspired by the iconic folk song, we invite artists to explore their personal interpretations of what this phrase means today. Written by Woody Guthrie in 1940, the song reflects both the beauty and hardships of the American landscape and its people. Read more about the Theme
Artists are encouraged to reflect on their own connections to America’s vast lands and it’s diverse populations. “This Land is Your Land” can be considered both a patriotic song and a song of protest. From sweeping vistas to intimate natural details, this exhibition seeks to celebrate, question and honor the land that sustains us. IMPORTANT DATES:
