Painting by Joe Gyurcsak
Artwork was  juried for acceptance and awards by Joseph Gyurcsak.
Joe Gyurcsak paints a broad range of subject matter including interiors, still life, figure and landscape painting. He has a keen sense for capturing the essence of his subject matter with a bold and candid approach. He exhibits in galleries across the country. His award winning paintings continue to pique the interest of collectors nationwide. Joseph is the Resident Artist / Brand Manager for Blick / Utrecht Art Supplies and has worked in various mediums including oil, acrylic and watercolor.
“My paintings express a sense of light, atmosphere and mood; they transcend the techniques that were employed to create them and breathe the very light and atmosphere they were painted in. I like to capture the fleeting moments of life; the sublime manifestations of light and color, their aesthetic influences on the subject.”

Award Winners Art

The annual open juried exhibition is generally held once every calendar year. It is juried by a prominent water media artist for acceptance and later, that same juror will select awards in person. Our highest level award of achievement is the prestigious Dagmar Tribble Award. You may enter this show as a member or non-member. The open juried exhibition is open to watermedia artists over the age of 18 who reside in NJ, NY, PA or DE.
